(Dublin, Ohio) – The City of Dublin is partnering with Chatstrike, Inc., a Dublin-based business itself, for “Dublin Talent Connect,” a free virtual hiring event held Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, to attract potential employees to Dublin companies and support workforce recruitment.
“Dublin Talent Connect is an opportunity for us to assist Dublin-based businesses with workforce recruitment efforts,” says City of Dublin Director of Economic Development Jeremiah Gracia, CEcD. “It’s important we provide support in a way that adds value for our participating businesses. Chatstrike offers a streamlined platform that simplifies the candidate screening process for both busy employers and prospective employees.”
The Chatstrike experience provides a 24-hour virtual lobby where potential employees can review job opportunities from participating companies, ask questions online, submit applications and respond to requests from recruiters. The platform’s 24/7 virtual environment offers flexibility and convenience to both employers and employees.
“The Chatstrike platform enabled us to initiate connections in a unique way. It was a great way to streamline the process for both participants and recruiter,” says Asha Mall-Graves, learning and development specialist, OCLC, who participated in a previous Dublin Talent Connect event.
Businesses that have participated in past or upcoming Dublin Talent Connect events include Cardinal Health, Quantum Health, OSU Physicians, Level D&I, Dublin City Schools, Crawford Hoying, Mount Carmel Health System, Roto, OCLC and T-CETRA.
Interested job seekers can visit bit.ly/DublinTalentConnect for more information or to register for the event and be ready to review employment opportunities when the virtual lobby opens on Oct. 30.
This is the fourth Dublin Talent Connect hiring event the City of Dublin has sponsored. To date, more than 60 businesses and 3,500 job seekers have made almost 2,000 connections on the platform.
